Pelita.online – Inggris akan mendapatkan 2 juta dosis vaksin Covid-19 Moderna Inc, yang akan tersedia di Eropa pada awal musim semi, kata pemerintah Minggu (29/11/2020). Jumlah ini di luar 5 juta dosis yang didapat dari perusahaan AS dua minggu lalu.
Kesepakatan baru itu datang sehari setelah Perdana Menteri Inggris Boris Johnson menunjuk Menteri Bisnis Junior, Nadhim Zahawi sebagai pihak yang bertanggung jawab atas distribusi vaksin Covid-19.
Inggris sekarang memiliki akses ke vaksin Moderna dengan dosis yang cukup untuk 3,5 juta orang. Secara keseluruhan, Inggris memiliki akses 357 juta dosis vaksin dari tujuh pengembang, menurut pemerintah.
